After tragically being displaced from her apartment after a fire, Janis was discovered by a talent scout while walking the sidewalks in NYC — which quickly led to her walking runways.
The 63 year old photographer turned model used the loss of her home of 15 years into inspiration to try new things and experience parts of the city she hadn’t before. She has since rebuilt but not before her entire life was altered.
